Kingfisher Referral Programme

Terms & Conditions

The full terms that govern the Kingfisher Referral Programme. Please read these before enrolling.

Version: 1.0.3

Last updated: June 15th 2026

Operated by: Kingfisher Electrics Ltd, 15 West Street, Brighton, BN1 2RL · Company No. 11140522 · VAT No. 311143856

1. About the Programme

1.1 The Kingfisher Referral Programme ("the Programme") is operated by Kingfisher Electrics Ltd ("Kingfisher", "we", "us", "our"). The Programme rewards individuals and businesses ("Referrers", "you", "your") who introduce customers to Kingfisher with digital gift vouchers when those introductions result in completed and invoiced electrical work.

1.2 In these Terms:

"Referrer" means a person or business enrolled in the Programme.

"Referred Customer" means a person or business introduced to Kingfisher by a Referrer.

"Voucher" means a digital reward issued through Kingfisher's chosen voucher provider (currently Tremendous), redeemable for a reward of your choice from the options that provider makes available at the time of issue.

"Working Day" means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England.

1.3 By enrolling in the Programme you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms & Conditions. Your written confirmation of enrolment from Kingfisher (including by email) constitutes the formation of an agreement between you and Kingfisher on these Terms.

2. Programme Duration

2.1 The Programme runs from 15 June 2026 (the "Launch Date") to 15 September 2026 (the "End Date").

2.2 To qualify for a Voucher, the referred work must be completed by Kingfisher on or after the Launch Date and on or before the End Date. The value of the Voucher is calculated from the invoice Kingfisher raises for that completed work, which may be raised shortly after the End Date in the normal course of business.

2.3 No Voucher will be issued where the referred work is not completed on or before the End Date, regardless of when the referral was made or when the Referred Customer first made contact. Work completed after the End Date does not qualify, even where the referral or first contact occurred during the Programme.

2.4 Kingfisher may at its discretion extend, re-launch, or operate further referral programmes after the End Date. Any such future programme will operate under its own published terms.

3. Eligibility to Refer

3.1 The Programme is open to:

(a) Letting agents, estate agents, and property managers;

(b) Tradespeople and other businesses;

(c) Private individuals (homeowners, tenants, and members of the public).

3.2 You must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom to participate.

3.3 The following are not eligible to participate as Referrers:

(a) Direct competitors of Kingfisher Electrics Ltd operating in the electrical contracting sector within the same geographical area.

3.4 Where you are participating in connection with your employment or business activity (for example as a letting agent or property manager), you confirm that:

(a) Your participation does not breach any contract of employment, fiduciary duty, or internal policy of your employer or principal;

(b) Your participation does not contravene the Bribery Act 2010 or any equivalent legislation;

(c) Where required by your employer, you have obtained their consent to participate.

3.5 To participate, you must enrol via the methods set out in clause 12. You will be considered enrolled only once Kingfisher has confirmed your enrolment in writing (including by email).

3.6 You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date. You should notify Kingfisher promptly of any change to your email address, telephone number, or other contact details.

4. Qualifying Referrals

4.1 A referral will qualify for a Voucher only where all of the following apply:

(a) You were enrolled in the Programme before the Referred Customer first contacted Kingfisher about the referred job;

(b) The referral relates to a genuine new job or enquiry that has come about because of your introduction. A Referred Customer may be someone for whom Kingfisher has carried out work previously, provided that the specific job referred was not already underway, already quoted, or already arranged with Kingfisher at the time of your introduction;

(c) You either provided the Referred Customer's contact details to Kingfisher with their consent, or you instructed the Referred Customer to mention your name when contacting Kingfisher, in either case before we issued a quote;

(d) Your name was recorded against the Referred Customer in Kingfisher's records at the point of first contact about the referred job;

(e) Kingfisher has completed the work and raised a valid invoice for it;

(f) The invoice relates to genuine electrical work and is not a deposit invoice, holding fee, retainer, or estimate.

4.2 Where two or more Referrers claim to have introduced the same Referred Customer, the Referrer whose name was first recorded against the Referred Customer in Kingfisher's customer management system will be treated as the introducing party. The decision of Kingfisher is final.

4.3 Self-referrals do not qualify. For these purposes, "self-referral" includes referrals of yourself, any member of your immediate family or household, any company or business under your ownership, control, or direction, and any property you own, part-own, or have a beneficial interest in.

4.4 Where Kingfisher reasonably considers that a single project has been artificially divided into multiple referrals or invoices in order to inflate Voucher values, Kingfisher will treat all related work as a single referral for Voucher calculation purposes.

5. Reward Structure

5.1 Vouchers are calculated on the invoice value excluding VAT of the referred job, according to the following tiers:

Invoice value of job (excluding VAT)Voucher
Up to £100£5
£100.01 – £300£15
£300.01 – £600£25
£600.01 – £1,000£50
£1,000.01 – £2,500£75
£2,500.01 and above£100

5.2 The Voucher for a qualifying introduction is calculated against the invoice value of the first qualifying job at the site, according to the tiers in clause 5.1. Where that first job is invoiced in stages, the Voucher is calculated on the total invoiced value of that job.

5.3 There is no limit to the number of separate Referred Customers you may refer, subject to clause 8 (Disqualified Referrals and Fair Use) and clause 2 (Programme Duration).

5.4 A Voucher is earned once per qualifying introduction — for the first electrical work Kingfisher is engaged to carry out at a site, calculated under clause 5.1. No further Voucher is earned for any later work at that same site, including remedial works, repeat callouts, or any subsequent job.

5.5 For the purposes of the Programme, a "site" is a property or building at its own address. Separate sites are treated separately, so the same Referrer, and the same end client, may earn a Voucher for each distinct site at which work is introduced — for example a developer or landlord engaging Kingfisher across several separate properties. Where a single building or property contains multiple units under one address (for example a block of flats or a house in multiple occupation), it is treated as one site and earns a single qualifying introduction, however many units or jobs are involved. Where it is unclear whether premises form one site or several, Kingfisher will determine this reasonably, and clause 6.8 (manual review) applies.

6. How Vouchers Are Issued

6.1 Vouchers are issued digitally through Kingfisher's chosen voucher provider (currently Tremendous, app.tremendous.com). You will receive a notification by email containing your Voucher and redemption instructions.

6.2 Vouchers can be redeemed for a range of rewards from the options Kingfisher's voucher provider makes available at the time of issue (currently including major UK retailers such as Amazon.co.uk). The available options depend on the provider then in use.

6.3 Vouchers will normally be issued within five (5) Working Days from the date of the invoice for the referred job. In rare cases issuance may take longer due to administrative checks or technical issues.

6.4 Vouchers must be claimed and redeemed within the validity period specified by Tremendous and the underlying retailer. Vouchers not claimed within ninety (90) days of issue may be withdrawn and forfeited.

6.5 Vouchers are delivered by email only. Kingfisher cannot send Vouchers by post.

6.6 Kingfisher is not responsible for Vouchers that fail to arrive due to incorrect contact details provided at enrolment, email delivery failures, spam or junk filters, recipient mailbox issues, or any technical issue with the Tremendous platform. If a Voucher does not arrive within ten (10) Working Days of the referred job being invoiced, you should contact us and we will investigate.

6.7 Vouchers should be treated as cash. Once issued, a Voucher cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, deleted, intercepted, or used by an unauthorised third party.

6.8 Kingfisher reserves the right to manually review and approve any Voucher issuance, in particular in respect of multi-unit, block, or commercial referrals where multiple invoices may be generated for a single introduction. In such cases the timing in clause 6.3 may not apply and Kingfisher will communicate with the Referrer directly.

7. Consent and Data Protection

7.1 By referring a customer, you confirm that you have the customer's permission to share their contact details with Kingfisher Electrics Ltd for the purpose of providing a quote or carrying out work.

7.2 Kingfisher will handle all personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018, and our Privacy Policy, available at https://kingfisherelectrics.co.uk/privacy-policy/.

7.3 Kingfisher will not disclose to the Referred Customer that they were referred under this Programme unless: (a) the customer asks; (b) you give explicit permission; or (c) we are required to do so by law.

8. Disqualified Referrals and Fair Use

8.1 The following will not qualify for a Voucher:

(a) Referrals relating to a job that was already underway, already quoted, or already arranged with Kingfisher at the time of the introduction;

(b) Self-referrals (as defined in clause 4.3);

(c) Jobs that are subsequently cancelled, refunded, or where the invoice is materially reduced or written off;

(d) Referrals that Kingfisher reasonably believes to be fraudulent, fabricated, manipulated, or made in bad faith;

(e) Referrals where the customer specifically requests not to be associated with a Referrer;

(f) Referrals made before the Referrer's enrolment has been confirmed by Kingfisher.

8.2 Kingfisher reserves the right to withhold, withdraw, or reclaim any Voucher where it reasonably believes the Programme has been abused, where these Terms have been breached, or where a Referrer has acted fraudulently. Reclaim may include cancelling an unredeemed Voucher or invoicing the Referrer for the value of a redeemed Voucher.

8.3 Kingfisher may require evidence of the bona fide nature of any referral before issuing a Voucher, including but not limited to confirmation directly from the Referred Customer that the introduction was genuine.

8.4 Kingfisher reserves the right to remove any Referrer from the Programme where it reasonably believes the Referrer has acted in a manner inconsistent with these Terms.

8.5 Kingfisher operates standard payment terms of 7 days for private customers and 28 days for letting agents, commercial, and business customers. Where two or more Referred Customers introduced by the same Referrer fail to pay Kingfisher's invoices within these terms, Kingfisher reserves the right to suspend or remove that Referrer from the Programme and to decline to accept or reward further referrals from them. This does not affect any Voucher already properly earned and issued.

9. Interaction with Other Offers

9.1 Vouchers issued under the Programme are independent of, and cannot be combined with, any other Kingfisher discount, offer, or promotion offered to the Referred Customer.

9.2 Once issued, Vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of Kingfisher's voucher provider (currently Tremendous) and any underlying retailer or reward supplier. Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, and have no cash alternative except to the extent that a cash-equivalent or bank-transfer redemption option is offered by the voucher provider at the time.

10. Changes to These Terms

10.1 Kingfisher reserves the right to modify these Terms or any aspect of the Programme at any time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled Referrers by email no less than thirty (30) days before they take effect. Administrative or operational changes (including changes to the Voucher provider) may take effect with immediate notification.

10.2 Qualifying referrals made before any change takes effect will be honoured under the Terms in force at the time of referral.

10.3 The latest version of these Terms will always be published at https://kingfisherelectrics.co.uk/referral-scheme/. Continued participation in the Programme following any change will be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Tax

11.1 It is the Referrer's responsibility to declare any Vouchers received as income where required by HM Revenue & Customs or any other applicable tax authority. Kingfisher does not provide tax advice. If you are unsure of your obligations, you should consult an accountant or tax adviser.

12. Enrolment and Contact

13. Liability

13.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes Kingfisher's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

13.2 Subject to clause 13.1, Kingfisher's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Programme is limited to the value of any unissued Voucher properly earned by the Referrer in accordance with these Terms.

13.3 Kingfisher is not liable for any technical malfunction, system error, third-party failure, or issue with the Tremendous platform that affects participation in the Programme or the delivery, redemption, or value of any Voucher.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Programme will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
